Club Mission Statement

The Aims of the Club are threefold:

  1. To encourage and promote Synchronised Swimming.
  2. To encourage swimmers to achieve their full potential.
  3. To actively support the pursuit of excellence.

Swimmers in our club are encouraged to improve their swimming technique, stamina, flexibility, general fitness and team spirit.

We encourage swimmers to maximise their potential and hope that they achieve their aims. To swim for fitness and enjoyment, to participate in the competitive side of their sport and to perhaps gain a place in the County, Regional and National Squads and Teams.

OWASC takes the welfare of its members very seriously and fully subscribes to the Swim England Wavepower. Wavepower is the Swim England's child safeguarding policies and procedures publication. An up to date copy can be found at  Wavepower and should be read in conjunction with Swim England Code of Ethics Guidance 2024

The OWASC Welfare Officer can be contacted using the following  email:  welfare@witneysynchro.co.uk

All OWASC documents and a list of current committee members can be found in the Download Forms section of this website.
